LisaRaye McCoy sat down with Carlos King on his “Reality With The King” podcast for a wide-ranging interview about her acting career, what it was like to be first lady of Turks and Caicos, and why her marriage to the country’s former premier fell apart.
In the interview, posted on YouTube Nov. 19, the Players Club actress said she’s not looking for love at the moment because she’s too busy concentrating on her family — her daughter, granddaughter.
“I am a grandmother now, I am caring about what my family is thinking about me,” said LisaRaye. “I am caring about me and my ‘me’ space, where I have to go, what I have left, what my legacy is going to be. How I’m going to make passive income. That’s what — I’m not even looking for a man really.”

While the actress and entrepreneur said she’s content, she recently looked for love on the Peacock reality dating series, ‘Queen’s Court.”
The Single Ladies star was married to former NFL player Tony Martin from 1992 to 1994.
Her second marriage was to former Turks and Caicos Premier Michael Misick from 2006 to 2008.
The two divorced amid a corruption probe surrounding Misick and allegations that he cheated with multiple women, including Nicole Murphy.
During LisaRaye’s 90-minute interview with former Real Housewives of Atlanta producer Carlos King, she called out Misick for his alleged affairs.
The actress said he was “disrespectful” throughout their marriage and constantly cheated.
King asked LisaRaye if Misick ever slept with any of her friends. She nodded yes, and said Misick would secretly fly women from the U.S. to Turks and Caicos on his private jet.
Among those women, she alleged Misick had an affair with was Nicole Murphy — the former wife of Eddie Murphy.
LisaRaye said she learned Misick had flown Murphy to Turks and Caicos when she spotted her name on a manifest for Misick’s jet. The actress also alleged cameras recorded Murphy and Misick together at the airport.
LisaRaye said she was furious when she saw the footage and said about Murphy, “Wow, I’m going to whoop your a–.”
She added, “Friends don’t do that… girl, where I come from, South Side of Chicago, that’s an a– whooping. Period!”
