Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Shot, $500,000 Reward Offered for Stolen Pets

Lady Gaga’s dog walker was shot and wounded while walking the pop star’s pets in Hollywood.

The shooting occurred about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of North Sierra Bonita Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. A gunman opened fire on the victim while he was walking three dogs and the suspect later fled in a white vehicle, according to the LAPD.

The victim, only identified as a man in his 30s, was taken to a nearby hospital. Police have not released his name or the status of his condition. A detailed description of the shooter was not available by police.

A LAPD spokesperson said investigators have not been unable to speak with Lady Gaga or her representatives to independently confirm the dogs are hers.

Two of the pets were stolen and one ran away but was later recovered according to TMZ. The outlet also reported Lady Gaga is currently in Rome working on a new movie, and her bodyguard was seen picking up the recovered bulldog. The stolen dogs’ names are Koji and Gustav.

So far the singer and actress has not posted on her Twitter or Instagram accounts about incident. Reportedly she is offering a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her two French bulldogs.

The spokesperson for the LAPD also noted thieves have been targeting this specific type of dog and may not have known they belonged to the “Poker Face” singer.
