Kevin Spacey, who’s been missing from the screen since a #MeToo scandal blew up his career, returned to the spotlight Tuesday with a weird Christmas Eve video.
The clip was posted on YouTube and featured the actor channeling his House of Cards character, shady politician Frank Underwood, who was killed off the Netflix series in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations against Spacey.
“You didn’t really think I was going to miss the opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas, did you?” Spacey said in character.
Wearing a red and white holiday sweater, the actor tended to a fire and delivered the holiday greeting, similar to one he posted last year on Christmas Eve.
“It’s been a pretty good year and I’m grateful to have my health back. And in light of that, I’ve made some changes in my life, and I’d like to invite you to join me. As we walk into 2020, I want to cast my vote for more good in this world, he added.”

The American Beauty Oscar winner urged those watching to kill their enemies with kindness.
“It’s not that hard, trust me. The next time someone does something you don’t like, you can go on the attack. But you can also hold your fire and do the unexpected. You can kill them with kindness,” he said, as dramatic music played.
Spacey was hit with abuse allegations from multiple men in 2017. He continues to maintain his innocence and no longer faces criminal charges after they were dropped in July.
