Kanye West has been silenced on X after a series of controversial posts.
It’s unclear if the rapper, who now goes by Ye, deactivated his own X – previously Twitter — account on Monday, Feb. 10, or if owner Elon Musk pulled the plug.
We do know the account now says: “Something went wrong. Try again.”

The rapper’s last post, according to Forbes, said he was done with the platform.
“I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” wrote West.
Over the last few days, West has repeatedly sparked anger with his posts.
He mocked Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who was shown on a hotel surveillance tape being beaten by the disgraced music mogul in 2016.
West posted a screengrab from the footage and included the caption: “Hey question if someone were to beat up their girlfriend in public, would that be considered domestic violence, or is that outdoor violence, or is it just public indecency? I’m just asking for a friend.”
Another post read “I love Hitler, now what bi–-hes.” The American Jewish Committee issued a statement on Friday, Feb. 7, blasting West.
“Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) continues to purposefully use his platform to spew anti-Jewish hatred. While some may dismiss his hateful rants, we cannot overlook the dangerous influence they can have on his millions of followers, particularly on social media, where a significant portion of today’s antisemitism thrives,” wrote the AJC.
The rapper also tweeted at President Donald Trump, asking him to help free his “brother Puff,” who is jailed in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
Diddy was arrested on Sept. 16 in New York City and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty on all counts.
His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
It’s worth noting that West launched a collaboration between his fashion line, Yeezy, and Comb’s Sean John brand on Friday.
