Kandi Burruss is speaking out about a shooting that left three people injured Friday at her Old Lady Gang restaurant in East Point, Georgia.

“My family and I are truly saddened by the unfortunate events that occurred at Old Lady Gang (OLG) Camp Creek, on the evening of February 14th, an evening that was meant to celebrate love, unfortunately turned into something quite different,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star said in a statement posted to Instagram Saturday.

“Our prayers and thoughts go out to the individuals that were harmed or in any way negatively impacted,” she added.  “We are aware that this matter is being actively investigated by law enforcement and we are cooperating with law enforcement to bring to justice those involved.”

The violence broke out when a man walked into the restaurant and opened fire, Atlanta TV station WSB reported.

The shooter was apparently targeting a male patron and also shot two bystanders before fleeing the scene. All three victims are expected to survive. At publication time, police were still searching for the suspect.

The Old Lady Gang restaurants are owned by Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker. The East Point location opened in 2018.
