Former Vice President Kamala Harris marked Easter with a message about maintaining faith in “the darkest of times.”
Harris shared several photos of her family in a post Sunday on Instagram, and wished the nation a happy Resurrection Day.
“On Easter Sunday, we celebrate joy, hope, and our faith in renewal — even through the darkest of times. To all those celebrating today, our family wishes you a happy Easter,” Harris captioned the post.

She and husband Doug Emhoff were spotted in the congregation on Sunday at Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California.
A live stream of the service showed the two seated among the parishioners at the 1:33:56 portion of the service.
The 2024 Democratic presidential nominee appeared to be enjoying the music after Senior Pastor Dr. John-Paul C. Foster delivered his sermon on the true meaning of Easter.
The two-plus hour service at the megachurch featured songs by the choir, actors telling the story of the resurrection, and youth dancers.
Meanwhile in Washington, the White House reposted an Easter message from President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform.
“Melania and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter! Whether you are heading out to church or, watching service from home, may this day be full of peace and joy for all who celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. HE IS RISEN!!” Trump wrote.
About an hour later, he followed up with a post blasting his critics and political opponents, including former President Joe Biden, judges, and what Trump described as “radical left lunatics.”
We’re trying to stay positive on this Easter Sunday, so we won’t repeat what the post said.
