Any time, any place is what Janet Jackson fans are thinking as she sells out shows with her 2024 Together Again tour.
The five-time Grammy Award winner performed for nearly 42,000 fans over her first four shows in Palm Desert, Los Angeles, Anaheim and Chula Vista, California.
These first stops marked the start of the singer’s 35-date summer run. This new leg of the concert series is an extension of her 2023 tour, which was the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s highest-selling trek of her career.

The 2024 Together Again tour celebrates Jackson’s 50th anniversary in entertainment and spotlights milestones for three of her most popular albums: 20 years of Damita Jo; 35 years of Rhythm Nation; and 38 years of Control.
Jackson, 58, began performing with her famous sisters as a child and she appeared on her family’s variety show, The Jacksons, in 1976.
A year later, she was selected for a role as Penny Gordon Woods on Good Times.
The singer released her debut album Janet Jackson in 1982.
In 2021, her third album Control returned to the top of the charts, hitting #1 on the Apple Top 40 US Pop Album chart. The album also made Billboard chart history for having the longest continuous run on the Hot 100 with singles from one album, ultimately tallying 65 consecutive weeks. To date, Control has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
Jackson is bringing along diamond-selling rapper Nelly as a special guest for this leg of her tour.
In 2022, Jackson’s fans helped her score huge ratings for the Lifetime and A&E documentary about her life. The film titled Janet Jackson reached more than 15 million viewers, marking Lifetime’s best non-fiction showing since Surviving R. Kelly in January 2019.
