The two-night, four-hour documentary premiered on January 28.
“It was tough at times. There was nothing easy about it,” Janet says in the four-hour film.
“When you have somebody say you’re too heavy, it affects you,” Janet says in the film.
“There were times when I just didn’t understand where I actually fit in,” Jackson admits.
The film titled ‘Malfunction: The Dressing Down of Janet Jackson’ explores the fallout after the performance.
“This is my story told by me, not through someone else’s eyes,” Jackson says in the video.
Membership is based on “professional qualifications, with representation, inclusion and equity remaining a priority.”
The documentary is set to air on FX and Hulu.
The authorized film titled ‘Janet’ will be simulcast on Lifetime and A&E in 2022.
