Grammy-Winning Producer Detail Charged With Sexually Assaulting Six Women

Noel Christopher Fisher, a Grammy-winning music producer known as “Detail,” was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of raping and sexual assaulting half a dozen women.

Fisher [shown above] took home a Grammy Award in 2015, for producing Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love.” He’s also worked with Snoop Dogg, Lady Gaga, Tyga, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa and others.

The producer is charged with forcibly raping five women and sexually assaulting another woman dating back to 2010, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release.

He was taken into custody by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Wednesday evening, and is being held on $6.29 million bail, according to online inmate booking records.

The list of charges against 41-year-old Fisher, includes 11 counts of forcible rape, three counts of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury, two counts each of forcible oral copulation, sodomy by use of force and false imprisonment by violence, prosecutors said.

The alleged crimes involved women between 18 and 31 years old, with most of them occurring at Fisher’s home between 2010 and 2018, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

One of the women was allegedly raped several times between 2015 and 2017, and another was allegedly raped twice in 2018, prosecutors said.

Fisher is scheduled to be arraigned Friday in downtown Los Angeles at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center. If convicted as charged, he faces a maximum sentence of 225 years to life in state prison.
