The new trailer is out for season 3 of Godfather of Harlem and it shows an intense fight for control of Harlem.
After his massive heroin shipment goes up in flames, Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker) is forced to ask the rival Italians for help.
“That heroin was the one chance I had to control these blocks,” Bumpy says in the teaser. “Now I’m crawling back to the Italians.”

When the Italian families show him no mercy, Bumpy prepares for a battle.
“We’re on the edge of war, how much man power have we got?” Bumpy asks his crew. They warn him he doesn’t have a chance against all five families. Adding to his problems, there’s a new foe on the scene — the Cuban Mafia from neighboring Spanish Harlem.
The series tells the story of real-life crime boss Bumpy, who returned home from prison in the early 1960s, to find the New York City neighborhood he once ruled in chaos. Season 3 was filmed in New York.
