George Lopez is ready to say goodbye to stand-up comedy, but first he has a few thoughts to share about getting older.

Prime Video recently released the teaser trailer for what Lopez says will be his final comedy special.

The special titled George Lopez: Muy Católico — translated to “very Catholic” — is scheduled to debut on the streaming platform Feb. 18.

In the teaser, Lopez jokes about aging and his changing appearance.

“I was in the casino and I heard this guy say, because I haven’t been old that long, so I can still hear. I heard this guy say, ‘Go ask that old Mexican lady what time it is,’” Lopez quipped before turning around and flipping his long, gray hair.

The comedian will also offer his takes on Latino family dynamics and generational clashes, according to the official description for the one-hour special, which was filmed last year at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Lopez, 63, is an L.A. native and often examines race and Mexican-American culture in his comedy routines.

The comic’s showbiz breakthrough came with his self-titled sitcom George Lopez, which aired on ABC from 2002 to 2007. He wore multiple hats on the show and served as co-creator, writer, producer, and star.

In 2009, Lopez made history as the first Mexican-American host of an English-language late-night show when Lopez Tonight launched on TBS.

Currently, the comedian stars in and executive produces the NBC comedy series Lopez vs Lopez alongside his real-life daughter Mayan Lopez. The family comedy features the father and daughter team in a fictionalized version of their real-life relationship.

In addition to his sitcom work, Lopez has dropped four HBO specials: The Wall (2017); It’s Not Me, It’s You (2012); Tall, Dark and Chicano (2009); and America’s Mexican (2007). He released a comedy concert on Showtime in 2004 titled Why You Crying? and a Netflix special called We’ll Do It for Half in 2020. His new special comes from Amazon MGM Studios and Travieso Productions.
