Denzel Washington rushed to help a homeless man in distress last week while the actor was driving through West Hollywood.
According to a TMZ report, the man was wandering in the middle of the street when Washington got out of his car to guide him to the sidewalk.
The occurrence was recorded on video and appeared to show Washington attempting to resolve an issue between police officers and the distressed man.

It’s unclear what was said between Washington and the officers, but the Training Day star seemed to be lending the man a hand. Later in the video clip, the man is seen being detained by the police officers as Washington holds some food and a drink for him.
TMZ reported that the man in question was later released.
