Damon Dash is the latest celebrity to distance himself from embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Dash took to Instagram Live on Sunday to comment on a resurfaced photo — as seen below — of himself with his late fiancée Aaliyah, Diddy’s then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, and the Bad Boy Records founder lounging on a large bed.

As the image went viral, Dash said he wasn’t part of Diddy’s infamous “freak-off” parties.

“I don’t go to those parties… I went to one about 20 years ago in the Hamptons and that was it,” said the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder. “A lot of people were at those, you know what I mean? Ain’t sh– happen in the Hamptons. That’s the day I met Aaliyah.”

“We hung out there and then we left and that’s what happened… That was 20 years ago and that was not in LA or in Miami,” he continued. “I know they’re gonna play games with those pictures. It’s cool.  I don’t really care.”

Dash dated Aaliyah from 2000 until her death in August 2001 at age 22. The R&B singer was killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas when a small twin-engine Cessna 402B crashed shortly after takeoff.

Dash also mentioned Diddy’s Sept. 16 arrest, calling the situation “sad and shocking.”

Later in the same, IG Live, Dash said if something is against his morals, he won’t wait around.

“People will sit there and watch people do things that could be immoral, but until they get caught, nobody says anything,” he explained. “Whether it’s illegal or immoral for me I just break out — I don’t wait for people to get busted.”

“If something’s against my moral fabric then I’m moving on. I make a choice to maybe walk away from some money or walk away from a relationship or a certain kind of financial opportunity,” Dash continued.

Diddy has been charged with 3 counts — racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He’s currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York City pending his trial.

The mogul faces life in prison if convicted.
