Stacey Dash was arrested for domestic battery Sunday night in New Port Richey, FL, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office told local TV station WFLA.

The incident happened at an apartment complex during an argument with an unidentified man. The actress, 52, is accused of pushing and slapping him.

TMZ later identified the male victim as Dash’s new husband, Jeffrey Marty, saying he allegedly “put her in a chokehold” during the dispute. Dash and Marty were reportedly married in April 2018. He’s her fourth husband.

Deputies said the male victim suffered scratches on his upper left arm during the altercation with Dash. Video recorded by police of the arrest showed Dash getting emotional as deputies put her in handcuffs.

She told them she works as an actress, had been in the film Clueless, and was born in the Bronx. They walked her to a police car as a male deputy chatted with her about her acting career.

The conservative actress recently worked as a contributor for Fox News up until 2016. During her time with the right-leaning network, she sparked outrage after saying it was time to do away with award shows or television networks that specifically honor African Americans, like the BET Awards.

Dash is best known for playing Dionne Davenport in the 1995 teenage romance movie Clueless.

She currently has several projects in the works, according to her IMDb page. Among those projects  is the upcoming political drama Roe v. Wade about the national battle over abortion rights. Fellow conservative actor and Trump supporter Jon Voight also has a role in the film.
