Cassie Ventura returned to the witness stand on the third day of ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial.

The singer and actress, who is known to fans as Cassie, told the court she endured years of physical abuse during their relationship. She said she was forced to have sex with strangers while Combs recorded the encounters, and she eventually considered taking her life.

Cassie, 38, is expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine. She said she met Combs in 2005, when she was 19 and he was 17 years older. They dated on and off for just over a decade.

While Cassie was on the stand Wednesday, a prosecutor asked at what point Combs became physically abusive. The “Me & U” singer said the violence started within the first year they were together.

“In New York City. We were in a car, with his security, and he knocked me around,” Cassie testified, according to ABC News.

“What did he do?” the prosecutor asked.

“He hit me in the side of the head. I fell to the floor of his Escalade,” the singer replied.

She told the court she left Combs several times, but he always sent someone to find her.

She said the mogul threatened to go public with videos he recorded of her having sex with male escorts during “freak off” sessions if she didn’t comply.

“He played them for me on one of his laptops. He said he’d release them,” she testified. When a prosecutor asked her how it made her feel, Cassie responded: “Trapped.”

She alleged the mogul viciously beat her in Los Angeles over something that happened at an industry event in January 2009.

“I’d been speaking to a producer about music. Sean called me a slut. I hit him in the face. I had been drinking,” she said.

When they got in the car, and she said he attacked her.

“I was on the floor of the car and he stomped on my face,” she testified.

A prosecutor asked how long the violence lasted. “Ten minutes. Then I tried to get away but Sean’s security brought me back,” Cassie responded.

“Who?” the prosecutor asked.

“Roger Bonds,” Cassie replied. “They snuck me into the hotel covered up so no one could see my face.”

Bonds previously worked as head of security for Diddy. His name trended throughout the day Wednesday on X, after he was mentioned during Cassie’s testimony.

In the 35-page rape and sex trafficking lawsuit she filed against Combs in November 2023, Cassie mentioned Bonds by name. The complaint said he actually tried to help her following an incident in January 2009, after she “spoke to another music manager” at a party in Los Angeles.

“In the car leaving the club, Mr. Combs beat Ms. Ventura, pushing her into a corner of the vehicle and stomping on her face. Mr. Combs’s security staff, Roger Bonds, tried to stop the beating, but was unable to deescalate the situation. When the car arrived at Mr. Combs’ residence, Ms. Ventura attempted to run away, but Mr. Combs followed her and proceeded to again kick her in the face,” the lawsuit read.

Combs settled the complaint after one day, but said through an attorney that the settlement was not “an admission of wrongdoing.”

In court Wednesday, Cassie revealed she received a $20 million payout from Combs and his companies.

She said in 2023, she started having suicidal thoughts because of “flashbacks” from the things she endured with Combs.

“I was spinning out,” she testified. “I didn’t want to be alive anymore at that point.”

She began to cry and said she almost ended her life while her children were asleep by walking into traffic.

“I couldn’t take the pain I was in anymore,” she stated, but said her husband saved her life.

Cassie returns to the witness stand on Thursday to be cross-examined by the defense.

Combs, 55, is charged with five felony counts. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. His attorneys have said he could be violent at times, but all of the sex acts were consensual.
