Bruno Falcon, a legendary break dancer and choreographer known by his stage name “Pop N Taco,” has died. He was 58

Falcon passed away Saturday, according to a message posted this weekend on his Facebook fan page.

“Bruno was an incredible, kind and generous man. He always had that smile that lights up our hearts every moment. A unique and incredible talent,” the post said. “He will forever be the greatest dancer of history, with Michael Jackson. We are all thinking of Bruno’s family and sending them all our love. Bruno “Pop N’ Taco” Falcon is the king.”

Falcon’s sister, Diana Wolgamott, told Los Angeles news station KABC-TV that Falcon died of natural causes, possibly from a heart attack, at his home in Long Beach.

The dancer was one of the stars of the 1984 movie Breakin’ alongside rapper and actor Ice-T, who paid tribute to Falcon on Twitter.

“He was way too young,” Ice-T tweeted Sunday.

Falcon was Michael Jackson’s longtime breakdancing teacher and appeared in the King of Pop’s “Smooth Criminal” music video, performing the gravity defying “tilt” move. Falcon is said to be the creator of the technique.

According to his IMDb page, his other acting credits included the film Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991) and the TV series Benson.
