Bow Wow has been released from jail just in time for the Super Bowl.
The 31-year-old rapper landed behind bars early Saturday morning in Atlanta, following a physical altercation with a woman, according to police.
The hip-hop star, whose real name is Shad Moss, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting the woman during a fight around 4:15 a.m.
When officers arrived on the scene, the woman claimed Bow Wow had assaulted her. But Moss said not so fast and accused the woman, identified as Leslie Holden, of attacking him.
“Both parties did sustain visible minor injuries,” the Atlanta Police Department said in a press release. “Officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor of the altercation, so both parties were charged with battery.”
