Beyoncé became the most decorated artist in Grammys history on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
After picking up her 32nd career Grammy Award, the singer-songwriter surpassed late composer Georg Solti in all-time wins, according to the Recording Academy.
“I’m trying not to be too emotional and I’m trying to just receive this night,” Beyoncé said after winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance. “I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny, who’s not here, but he’s here in spirit. I’d like to thank my parents — my father, my mother, for loving me and pushing me.” She also thanked husband Jay-Z and their three children before saying, “I’d like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre.”
