Former Bad Girls Club cast member Deshayla E. Harris was killed Friday night in a shooting at Virginia Beach, police said.

Harris was one of two people fatally shot during “three separate shooting events” that appear to be unrelated in the oceanfront area on March 26, the Virginia Beach Police Department said in a news release.

“The identity of the female victim has been confirmed to be 28-year-old Deshayla E. Harris of Norfolk, VA. Harris was a bystander at the second shooting incident,” police said.

The second person who died was identified as Donovon W. Lynch, 25, of Virginia Beach. He was killed in an “officer-involved shooting” at one of the locations, police said.

Eight other people were injured in the violence and transported to area hospitals. Their injuries range from serious to life-threatening, police said. A Virginia Beach police officer suffered minor injuries.

In an update Saturday, police said 22-year-old Ahmon Jahree Adams, 18-year-old Nyquez Tyyon Baker and 20-year-old Devon Maurice Dorsey Jr. were arrested and charged with seven counts each of felonious assault, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and reckless handling of a firearm in connection with the first shooting.

The investigation continues to determine if the three shootings were somehow related and if there are additional suspects, police said.

Harris appeared on the 17th and final season of Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club. The series centered on a group of rebellious young women living in a mansion together as part of a social experiment. Harris was known on the series as “The Firecracker Fashionista.”

The team behind the show shared their condolences on Twitter Saturday, writing: “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Deshayla’s family and loved ones.”
