A$AP Rocky and his two associates were released from a Swedish jail Friday, while they await the verdict in the assault case against them.
The rapper’s release came as his three-day trial concluded with the judge saying a verdict will be handed down on August 14, according to ABC News.
Shortly after his release, Rocky took to Instagram to thank his supporters.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of my fans, friends and anyone across the globe who supported me during these last few weeks,” he wrote. “I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for all of you. This has been a very difficult and humbling experience. I want to thank the court for allowing me, Bladi and Thoto to return to our family and friends. Thanks again for all of the love and support.”
The rapper, 30, and his associates, Bladimir Corniel and David Rispers, are accused of assaulting Mustafa Jafari during a street fight on June 30 in Stockholm. Prosecutors alleged the three men kicked and beat Jafari, a 19-year-old Afghan refugee, with a glass bottle while he lay on the ground.

A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, was arrested on July 2. He testified that Jafari and another man followed him and his friends, and instigated a fight with the hip-hop star’s bodyguard. Rocky described the men as “drug addicts” on social media before his arrest.
The Harlem rapper’s attorney said the group “begged and pleaded” with Jafari to leave them alone, adding that the Americans acted in self-defense.
In their closing arguments, prosecutors asked that Rocky get a six-month sentence. The hip-hop star told the court he thought community service would be a just punishment. The rapper pleaded not guilty as the trial got underway Tuesday.
Rocky’s relatives, including his mother Renee Black, have been attending the trial. US Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, Robert O’Brien, has also been in court to “support the members of the family and the American citizens.”
The Grammy-nominated rapper was in Sweden to perform at a music festival.
