Anthony Anderson Says He ‘Lost It’ While Filming ‘Black-ish’ Series Finale

Anthony Anderson has revealed he cried while filming the final episode of Black-ish.

The actor appeared as a guest Monday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and said his co-star Tracee Ellis Ross “cried every day” while working on the final season of their ABC comedy.

“Actually I think the last day I cried a little bit more than she did and I didn’t think it was going to hit me the way that it did,” he said during the interview.

“On the last scene on the last day is when I lost it, and it was unexpected for me. I didn’t expect to lose it the way that I did. That just goes to show how much I love what I do, love doing it with the people I did it with for the last eight years,” he continued.
