Alicia Keys has given a new sound to one of her classic hits.

The 15-time Grammy winner released a re-imagined version of her 2004 single “If I Ain’t Got You” on Monday, for the soundtrack of Netflix’s Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

The music video features Keys performing with the Queen Charlotte global orchestra, made up of more than 70 women of color from around the world.

South Africa’s first Black female conductor, Ofentse Pitse, leads the orchestra which includes Rimon from The Netherlands, Amel Bent from France, Alicia Awa of Germany, Cherrie from Sweden, and Delara from Norway.

At the Los Angeles premiere of the series, Keys told Extra the team behind the royal Shondaland drama personally contacted her about using the song in a ballroom dance scene in episode 4.

“I wanted to do it because the song is timeless. I wanted to do it because the vision of doing a 76-piece orchestra of all women of color is, I’m going to possibly say a first, maybe I’m wrong, but I’m probably right,” she explained. “So to be able to do that with this song, in this moment, it felt very impactful, powerful, and it felt perfect.”

The series follows the story of young Charlotte who arrives in London for her arranged marriage to England’s King George. Once the future queen begins the process of becoming a royal wife, the king’s mother tells her the marriage will help bring the country together. And she reminds Charlotte her role is to produce heirs.

The Bridgerton prequel stars India Amarteifio as young Charlotte and Corey Mylchreest as King George. Golda Rosheuvel,  Adjoa Andoh, and Ruth Gemmell reprise their roles from the original series.

Shonda Rhimes is showrunner, executive producer and writer. Betsy Beers co-executive produces. Tom Verica is director and executive producer.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story premiered May 4 on Netflix.
