Baddies and Love & Hip Hop alum Sidney Starr is denying the felony child sexual abuse charges filed against her over the weekend in Georgia.
The reality star was arrested Sunday, Aug. 2, in the city of Hapeville in Fulton County.
A rep for Starr issued a statement to TMZ Monday evening, saying the television personality “unequivocally denies the allegations” and plans to “vigorously defend herself through the legal process.”
The statement added that the model, who is transgender, does not want the case to stigmatize the trans community.

According to Fulton County inmate records, Starr was charged with three counts — sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated child molestation, and sodomy.
The Hapeville Police Department told local TV station Atlanta News First the reality star was taken into custody at an Embassy Suites hotel.
The station obtained a copy of the arrest warrant and reported Starr, whose legal name is Sidney Favors, allegedly told officers she performed a sex act on a boy at the hotel and claimed the encounter was consensual.
Court documents show she made her first appearance Monday and remains jailed without bail. She is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 25.
An attorney for Favors did not immediately respond to Urban Hollywood 411′s request for comment.
The reality star is originally from Chicago. A post on her Instagram account said she was in Georgia to host an event.
In recent years, she appeared on the Zeus Network shows Baddies: ATL and Baddies South. She previously was part of the cast on season 9 of Love & Hip Hop: New York in 2018, and had acting roles on The Chi, Empire and Star.
Her episodes of Baddies are still running on Zeus. The network’s CEO Lemuel Plummer released a statement on social media Monday addressing the allegations against Starr.
