Porsha Williams scored another win in her legal battle with ex-husband Simon Guobadia.

According to Us Weekly, a Georgia court rejected Guobadia’s appeal on Tuesday, Sept. 9, after he asked the court to overturn the divorce settlement Williams was awarded earlier this year.

Porsha took to her Instagram Stories to celebrate her latest legal victory. “It’s over!!!! Thank Goodness. Grateful,” she wrote.

Simon reacted by writing in his own Instagram Story, “Here we go again with Mrs 265. Still has learned absolutely nothing. #itsovermyass.”

“265” refers to Porsha incorrectly saying there are 265 days in a year on an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Simon also released a statement, saying his legal team is gearing up for an extended fight.

“We intend to continue pursuing this appeal, as we have not yet exhausted all legal remedies,” he told People. “I anticipate a resolution within approximately 12–24 months, depending on how far the opposition chooses to take the matter.”

“In addition, I have a federal defamation case that has yet to be heard, and we are now preparing for the discovery phase at the pace set by the federal court,” he added. “I am a very patient man — patience has served me well for over 40 years in both my personal and professional life — and I am confident that I will ultimately prevail.”

The pair’s divorce was finalized on June 11, when a Georgia judge upheld the couple’s prenuptial agreement.

Simon attended the hearing via Zoom from his native Nigeria after being deported amid legal problems — dating back decades — with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as previously reported.

The hearing saw Porsha awarded $40,000 a month in alimony for the length of the marriage — 14 months. She was told she could stay in the marital home — all expenses paid, including the mortgage — for up to 36 months. If she decides she wants full ownership of the home, she can refinance it in her name and give Simon 50 percent of the equity.

She additionally retained a Rolls-Royce he gifted her and had all of her attorney fees covered by her ex-husband.

In an interview with Page Six back in June, Simon said marrying the RHOA star was a huge mistake.

“Getting engaged in 30 days … who does that? I was out of my goddamn mind to have done that. Of course, I’m paying dearly for it.”

Williams filed for divorce in February 2024. Guobadia left the U.S. after the split, and revealed on Instagram that he was spending time in the United Arab Emirates.

At the beginning of this year, he returned to Georgia for a divorce hearing and was detained by ICE agents at the airport. He has alleged Porsha, or someone close to her, tipped off ICE to his whereabouts, which she denied in an interview with “The Breakfast Club.”

U.S. officials held Guobadia for nearly four months before he was deported back to Nigeria.

The businessman, who is reportedly worth $40 million after founding the SIMCOL Group petroleum supply company, has been married four times.

He told Page Six, the split from Williams was his worst.

“I’ve had prenups in previous relationships, and I’ve honored those prenups without reservation,” he said. “This time around, I’ve chosen to challenge in court — all the way to the Supreme Court if I have to.”
