50 Cent is changing his tune about the theme song for Power.
After facing pressure from fans, the hip-hop mogul says he’s bringing back the original version of “Big Rich Town” performed by R&B singer Joe.
“The original theme song will play this Sunday coming. Episode 603. I directed this episode I promise it’s crazy,” 50 Cent tweeted on Monday, September 2.

That post came after a previous tweet hours earlier saying: “I’m a put the theme song back alright. We cool again or what?”
The original track was written and performed by 50 Cent and Joe, and played over the opening credits for the first five seasons.
But as previously reported, viewers were upset when the sixth and final season of the series premiered last month, and Joe was replaced by Trey Songz and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

Many fans didn’t like the updated version of the song and there was a huge backlash on social media.
Among the comments were “return to sender,” “no thanks,” and “give us the original theme song back.”
Joe chimed in with an August 28 tweet and said the original is a “classic.”
Now that 50 Cent has responded, hopefully everyone will be “cool” again.
Power airs Sunday nights on Starz.
