Whoopi Goldberg addressed questions about her sexuality in a new interview, saying she is “not a lesbian.”
Goldberg cleared things up during an appearance on the latest episode of iHeartMedia’s “The Best Podcast Ever” with Raven-Symoné and her wife Miranda.
Raven, who co-hosted The View from 2015 to 2016, told Goldberg she gave off “lesbian vibes” when they worked together on the ABC daytime talk show.
“Speaking of love and staying out of people’s business, I want to just dig into your business a little bit,” the That’s So Raven star said. “Honestly, when I was around you, I loved you so much like I just wanted to be up underneath the titty the whole time. But that’s also because you just kind of gave me lesbian vibes.”

Raven’s wife chimed in, adding: “I think this is a secret fantasy of Raven’s. I think she just wants everybody to be gay and she’s just really hoping you’ll come out right here, right now.”
Goldberg laughed and responded by saying she’d heard the rumors before.
“Women have been asking me this for as long as I’ve been around, I am not a lesbian,” the EGOT winner said. “But I know lots of them, and I’ve played them on television.”
Goldberg, 67, has been married three times — to Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg. She also previously dated actors Timothy Dalton and Ted Danson.
The View moderator additionally discussed cancel culture, being terrified of a young Raven, and how Billy Crystal and Robin Williams inspired her work. The full conversation can be found here.
