Mission: Impossible actor Ving Rhames is said to be recovering after he collapsed at a restaurant in Los Angeles and was rushed to a hospital.

Rhames, 66, was dining with his family on Wednesday afternoon, April 29, when he suddenly fell ill at the table, TMZ reported.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the restaurant, located in the North Hollywood section of L.A., and Rhames was transported to an area hospital.

The actor’s manager, Brad Kramer, said he became “overheated.”

Rhames was released from the hospital on Wednesday evening, Variety reported.

“He sounded like everyday Ving and cracked a joke over the phone,” Kramer told the outlet. He added that the star felt better and “sounded like everyday Ving.”
