Jeffrey Toobin’s Zoom scandal may have been The View‘s hottest topic yet.

On Monday, news broke that Toobin, CNN’s chief legal correspondent and a reporter at The New Yorker, had been suspended by the magazine and temporarily taken off the air by CNN after he allegedly exposed himself during a Zoom video call.

Now, celebrities and public figures are sharing their reactions to the news. On Tuesday, the hosts of ABC’s popular daytime show The View discussed Toobin’s incident, and returning host Sara Haines could barely contain her laughter during the “Hot Topics” segment.

Haines remarked, “I usually give women a lot of credit for multi-tasking, but this is a gear switch I could leave to only a man.”

Fellow host Joy Behar had a more stern reaction, along with a play on words.

“He’s got this huge career on CNN,” she said. “He’s the guy, and then shoots himself in the foot with behavior like this. I mean, get a therapist Jeffrey.”

Toobin was reportedly spotted masturbating during a meeting about the upcoming election. While Haines explained that it is a serious situation, she couldn’t help but make fun of the absurdity of the incident.

She shared, “This is — I’m sorry — the most un-sexy thing I’ve ever heard of, and I’m not going to be able to unsee this. I know there’s a lot of seriousness to this topic. It’s just really hard because I can’t fathom a situation where this was the option A and B.”
