OWN dating series Ready to Love is coming back for a tenth season.
The network announced the renewal ahead of tonight’s season 9 finale.
Hosted by comedian and actor Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, Ready to Love explores the real-life romantic rollercoasters of Black men and women in their 30s and 40s as they search for love connections.
This current season follows singles in Fort Worth, Texas, and is Friday night’s #1 original non-sports series on cable among the African-Americans audience.

Participants are challenged to date and eliminate their least favorite prospects to determine who is ready to make a genuine connection.
In February 2023, OWN aired the 100th episode of the program. At the time, Nephew Tommy told Urban Hollywood 411 it was a “blessing” to reach that rare milestone.
“I’m excited. And I mean, 100. I had no earthly idea we would be even talking about 100,” Miles said. “When I first jumped on, I was like, ‘Oh, my God. How can I make this first season outstanding?’ And now here we are, fast forward and we’re at number 100. That’s a big blessing.”
The series is produced for OWN by Will Packer Media and Lighthearted Entertainment.
Before filming in Fort Worth, the show brought together singles in Atlanta, Houston, Washington, D.C. and Miami.
Season 9 concludes Friday, March 29 at 8/7c.
Following the finale, the original 20 singles join Tommy in an explosive two-part reunion to reflect on the romance and drama from Fort Worth. Parts 1 and 2 of Fort Worth reunion air on Friday, April 5 and 12 at 8/7c on OWN.
