Post Malone picked up a leading seven American Music Awards nominations Thursday morning, including Artist of the Year. Drake, Ariana Grande, Halsey, and Taylor Swift were also nominated in the category.
Lil Nas X received five nominations, followed by Ella Mai and Khalid with four each.
Ella Mai announced the nominees in four categories live on Good Morning America, with additional nominees revealed on the AMAs social media accounts.

The American Music Awards winners are chosen entirely by fans, who can access the official voting ballot by visiting goo.gle/AMAsVote or by going to Google.com and using the search terms “AMAs Vote” or “[Nominee Name] AMAs Vote.” Voting will close on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT.
The winners will be announced at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, when the show airs live on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
