It’s been just over two months since Peter Thomas was released from federal prison and he already has a new job lined up.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum sat down this week for a live interview with YouTuber Michelle “ATLien” Brown and revealed he’s returning to reality TV.

Thomas shared the news after someone in the chat asked if he’d be willing to work with fellow RHOA alum Todd Tucker, who is reportedly launching a new streaming network.

“We talked a couple of times in the last couple of weeks, and what he pitched to me, I signed on for,” said Thomas. “It doesn’t make sense without me.”

Tucker and former wife, RHOA veteran Kandi Burruss, finalized their divorce in March 2026, after 11 years of marriage. The two met while he was a production staffer on the show.

Thomas said Tucker is a great dad, a savvy businessman, and he helped Kandi launch several successful ventures.

“One thing I can say about Todd, without a doubt, even though we had our beef for a moment, Todd is extremely smart,” he said.

In April, multiple media outlets reported one of the first shows coming to Tucker’s new network will center around the men who appeared on RHOA, like himself.

Tucker did not immediately respond to Urban Hollywood 411′s request for comment on the show.

Michelle “ATLien” reported last month that sources told her Tucker had contacted several ex-husbands who appeared on RHOA, including Thomas and Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband Apollo Nida, and asked them to join the new show.

In her interview, she pressed Thomas to find out who would be in the cast.

“I can’t tell you who’s gonna be there. I just know that I signed on,” he said.

Thomas insisted the program won’t be messy, instead, he said it will give the ex-husbands a chance to tell their own stories.

“This is not a situation where they are trying to go dig up some house husband to come and talk s–t,” he said. “It’s just people talking about how the show impacted them, how it affects their lives, good or bad, and what their experience was.”

Thomas also talked about his time behind bars, after announcing on Feb. 26, 2026 that he’d been released.

He reported to federal prison in May 2025, following a guilty plea to one count of failure to pay “trust fund taxes” for employees of his PT Media, LLC.

Federal prosecutors said instead of paying the IRS taxes on employee wages at his restaurants and nightclubs, Thomas pocketed more than $2.5 million.

He said in the interview he was immediately recognized by the other inmates.

“The biggest show in jail is the Atlanta housewives,” he shared. “Men sit around and watch that s–t every time it comes on, then they always wanted to come and ask me questions.”

He said prison was difficult and the food was horrible. But exercise and his inmate job helped him pass the “6 months and 26 days” he spent locked up in Miami, Florida.

“I washed cars for 60 cents a day,” he said while laughing. “I didn’t complain.”
