Moses J. Moseley Dies: ‘The Walking Dead’ Actor was 31

Moses J. Moseley, an actor known for portraying one of the zombies on The Walking Dead, has died. He was 31.

Moseley was found dead in Stockbrige, Georgia on Wednesday.

Law enforcement officials are investigating his death as a possible suicide, TMZ  reported Monday. According to a family source, the actor had been missing since last Sunday and his relatives filed a missing persons report.

Moseley’s family released a statement via his talent manager to People magazine saying, “He was loved by everyone who met him. Such a bright light in everyone’s eyes.”

“Moses was an amazing person and if you had the opportunity to meet him he would have made your day amazing. He was very talented, he was a great friend, the kind you could call for anything. He was always excited about life and working in the entertainment business,” the statement continued.

On Monday, The Walking Dead‘s official Twitter account posted a tweet in remembrance of the actor: “Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley.”

Moseley’s other acting credits included appearances on HBO’s Watchmen and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013.
