Monica clapped back at the right-wing reporter who vented the CMT Music Awards are becoming too Black, telling him he’ll soon see a lot more of her alongside a “legendary team of true country artists.”

The “Angel of Mine” singer uploaded a post on Instagram Wednesday with the caption: “I’ve never been more motivated. Patrick Howley, although your feelings are likely shared by some, it’s NOT by the masses! I have an all star LEGENDARY team of true country artists that are currently working with me that would beg to differ!”

She then mentioned some of the country acts she’s performed with in the past including Jimmie Allen and Little Big Town.

“This was the first of many times that you will see me! I see you caught that my skin is melanated, but you missed that it was tough!” She added. “I’m rooted in the word & built to last! See you soon, or should I say, ‘Welcome to Wakanda.’”

Monica also mentioned her upcoming country album “Open Roads” at the end of the post. The album title was revealed at the CMT Awards when the 41-year-old performed.

Howley, a conservative who’s done work for Breitbart News and The Daily Caller, said: “Just fly with your flock, bro” after Marvel Cinematic Universe star Anthony Mackie co-hosted the April 11 show with nominee Kane Brown.

He wasn’t done with the insults. “There were so many Black people there. Sorry to say, but so many Black celebrities who have nothing to do with country music and it’s like — why?” he added. “It’s not Wakanda.”
