Keisha Whitaker, a former model, actress, and ex-wife of actor Forest Whitaker, has died. She was 51.
Whitaker’s youngest daughter True shared the news of her mom’s death Wednesday, Dec. 6, in an Instagram Story.
“Goodbye mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond,” she wrote. “The most beautiful woman in the world…thank you for teaching me every single thing I know. I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart.”
True included a series of photos from her mom’s life in the heartfelt post.
Whitaker’s family confirmed she passed away to Deadline. No cause of death was given.

Born Keisha Nash on March 8, 1972, she grew up in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Nash was a model and later became an actress and producer. She had a role in the 2004 film Proud, according to her IMDb page. In 2008, She also hosted the TLC competition show Who Are You Wearing, per TV Guide.
She met Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker on the set of the 1994 film Blown Away. According to published reports, Nash had a small role as Whitaker’s love interest in the film.
They were married in 1996, and divorced in 2018 after 22 years of marriage. The couple shared daughters Sonnet Noel, 27, and True, 25. They each had a child from a previous marriage.
