Jada Pinkett Smith wants to set the record straight about her relationship with husband Will Smith.

On Wednesday’s episode of Red Table Talk, Jada welcomed guest Gwyneth Paltrow for a “sex talk” at the red table. The Girls Trip star told Paltrow she got married in 1997, but sometimes it’s “uncomfortable” to communicate with Will about sex, even after two decades of marriage.

“It’s hard,” Jada said. “The thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey. We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old. That’s why the accountability part really hit for me because I think you expect your partner to know [what you want], especially when it comes to sex. It’s like, ‘if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.’ That’s a huge pitfall.”

Paltrow was on the show promoting her Netflix series Sex, Love & Goop and responded: “Isn’t it weird, though? It’s like someone doesn’t read your mind and we feel crushed.”

“Crushed!” Jada said, before adding that “it’s deeply healthy” to communicate.

Some social media users — and gossip blogs — felt Jada shared too much about her personal life and criticized her comments. In response, the 50-year-old star posted a statement on Twitter Wednesday night to clear things up.

“Only because I got time today. Stop making up headlines. Watch the @RedTableTalk I did with @GwynethPaltrow for yourselves. Will and I have NEVER had an issue in the bedroom. Thank you,” she tweeted.

The post generated hundreds of comments, with some fans urging Jada to stop sharing so much about her marriage.

“Literally NO ONE wants to know about these things. Nobody. Nadie. Perssone. Nessuno. Stop sharing and we’ll stop caring!” Twitter user @jeassebelle replied.

Added @Amor_VincitOm, “But surprisingly you got yourself ‘entangled’ perhaps on your journey of self discovery learn that some things are sacred and shouldn’t be shared publicly.”

@Sudaneselove tweeted, “I think some things are best to leave private — some things are just not meant for sharing.”

While @DanielShalomJNR replied: “She really has put Willard through a lot.”
