The relationship Evelyn Lozada and Lavon Lewis began after meeting on Peacock dating series Queens Court has ended.

The two recently called off their wedding and decided to go their separate ways, Lozada told Us Weekly on Thursday, Oct. 19.

“Things went so fast… and the distance, he lives in Atlanta, that was another thing that was really, really difficult,” Lozada told the outlet while promoting season 11 of Basketball Wives.

“He has a son that is, I believe, in his first year of high school or going to high school. It was a lot of moving parts and it just started becoming difficult, and I was just like, ‘I don’t want to keep this going just for the world,’” she continued.

She added that the two remain friends after they decided ending their engagement was “the right thing to do.”

Lozada, 47, also revealed that her breakup with Lewis, 42, will be shown this season on Basketball Wives.

The reality TV personality was briefly married to NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, and had previous relationships with athletes Antoine Walker and Carl Crawford.

Queens Court premiered in March 2023, with Holly Robinson Peete and husband Rodney Peete hosting the show’s 10 episodes.

The premise was to help three celebrity “queens” find their “kings.”

The series followed Lozada, and singers Tamar Braxton and Nivea as they searched for love by dating 21 male suitors, as previously reported.

The season ended with Nivea deciding to remain single.

Lozada chose Lewis, a branding expert and marketing firm co-founder, with the two announcing their engagement after the show wrapped production.

Braxton accepted a marriage proposal from attorney Jeremy “JR” Robinson on the season finale.

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for Braxton and Robinson either.

Robinson took to his Instagram Story on Monday, Oct. 2, to announce his relationship with the Grammy-nominated singer and actress was over.

“Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person,” Robinson shared. He said there was no cheating involved, but he wanted to keep the reasons for the split private.

Braxton has a son with ex-husband Vincent Herbert. Robinson has 5 children with 4 women.

The singer said in an Instagram Story earlier today that she is heartbroken as she prepares to begin her “Love and War 10th Anniversary” Tour.

“At some point, you have to get the strength to close the chapter,” she shared along with a broken heart emoji. “What a fool I was.”
