As Sean “Diddy” Combs sits in a notorious New York jail awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges, his lawyer continues to argue the case in the court of public opinion.

Attorney Marc Agnifilo appears in the new documentary TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy The Indictment, and says the federal government targeted the Bad Boy Records founder because he is Black.

“[The government] is no friend historically of the successful Black man, okay, none. And they start making this case, in my opinion, as a takedown of a successful Black man,” Agnifilo said in the documentary, which premiered Thursday, Sept. 26 on Tubi.

The attorney also discussed the more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and personal lubricant that U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said agents found when they raided Diddy’s homes in March.

But Agnifilo claims the U.S. attorney is exaggerating.

“I don’t know where the number 1,000 came [from],” the attorney said. “I can’t imagine it’s thousands… I mean, he has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home.”

Agnifilo added that he’s “not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.” In response, TMZ’s Harvey Levin replied prosecutors believe Diddy used the baby oil as “lubricant” for his “freak-off” sex parties.

Costco did not appreciate being dragged into the Diddy drama and on Thursday released a statement debunking Agnifilo’s buying in bulk claim.

A spokesperson for the company told TMZ none of its U.S. locations carry baby oil.

Diddy was arrested at a New York City hotel on Sept. 16, and charged with three counts: sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Despite his legal team offering a $50 million bond, two separate federal judges denied the requests saying the mogul poses a threat to the community.

Earlier this week, an 11th accuser came forward with disturbing allegations of abuse. During a news conference in Los Angeles, accuser Thalia Graves tearfully said she was drugged and raped by Diddy and an associate in 2001 at Bad Boy Studios in New York.

“I’ve had PTSD, depression, and anxiety,” Graves said through tears. “Nightmares and intrusive thoughts make it a constant struggle, and I’ve dealt with physical issues like chronic pain and discomfort.”

Combs has denied the accusations from all 11 accusers.

  1. So racism…. Not anything he did, like the sexual slavery, the contract slavery, the underhanded, predatory deals, the parties, forced orgies, etc? That’s all fine, but racism did him in. LOL

  2. What did racism have to do with diddy paying for the murder of Tupac Shakur or biggy smalls. The same crew killed both of them and the money came from puff daddy and snoop dog who paid off the same cop that got snoop off the murder case in 92 and was with Suge nights wife trying to kill then for the label. That cop Kevin Gaines died 2 weeks later. Was that puffy too? Snoop needs to be arrested for murder again and not bribe the jury this time.
