Actor and comedian Andy Dick has been arrested on suspicion of felony sexual battery at a Southern California campground, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived at O’Neill Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, after receiving a call from an adult male saying he had been assaulted.
The sheriff’s department did not release the man’s name, but said he told authorities he was the victim of an assault by the comedian.

Sgt. Scott Steinle with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that after an investigation, Dick was arrested on suspicion of felony sexual battery.
The alleged victim was taken to the hospital for an assault examination, Steinle said. Dick, 56, has since been booked into jail. As of the time of publication, he was being held on $25,000 bail, according to jail records.
PageSix reported the arrest was streamed live on a YouTube channel titled “Captain Content RV.” The video shows a man named “JJ” telling someone else in the video that he was sexually assaulted by Dick while he was sleeping. Dick is also shown in the footage.
Just last month, TMZ reported on a livestream that showed Dick in Las Vegas when a man pulled out a gun during an argument. Police had to do a welfare check.
The comedian is no stranger to legal trouble. He’s previously been arrested for domestic violence, drug possession and groping allegations, and indecent exposure.
Dick rose to fame on the 1990s NBC comedy NewsRadio. He also had his own show, The Andy Dick Show on MTV.
