Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams said “I do” over the weekend to her fiancé Christian Gold.

The two exchanged vows on Saturday, Sept. 14, in Paris, France. Video shared on Instagram showed Jennifer wearing a strapless gown and walking arm-in-arm with Christian.

In December 2023, Jennifer and Christian posted video on their joint YouTube page from their engagement party, which is shown in the image above.

Christian, 30, describes himself as an asset manager, while Jennifer, 48, is a reality TV personality, entrepreneur and filmmaker.

The couple’s wedding came just days after Christian was taken into custody on Sept. 6, for violating his probation and sentenced to 15 days in jail, as reported by TMZ.

Because of the pending wedding, the judge in the case allowed him to serve two days before jetting off to Paris to get married.

Now that the ceremony is over, Christian must return to DeKalb County, Georgia, to serve out the rest of his sentence.

He was released from jail in 2018, after serving 30 months for false imprisonment in connection with a domestic violence case.

Christian violated the terms of his probation when he and Jennifer traveled to Europe in July without permission from his probation officer.

According to published reports, his probation officer learned about the trip after Jennifer shared details and pictures of the couple in Italy and Switzerland on Instagram.

In addition to his probation violation, Christian “also failed to pay $12,500 in restitution to his victim,” TMZ reported. He apparently paid off the debt during his court appearance this month when he was arrested.

Christian is no stranger to law enforcement. He admitted to a string of legal troubles on season 11 of Basketball Wives. As rumors began to spread among the cast, he said he had also done time for “grand theft auto,” as previously reported.

The other women on the show cautioned Jennifer to move slowly with Christian because of his past.

Clayanna even mocked Jennifer saying her man is “a f–king scammer!”

Jennifer ultimately ignored the women’s comments and moved forward with the wedding.

She was previously married to former NBA star Eric Williams from 2007 to 2011. During his NBA career, he played for multiple teams including two separate runs with the Boston Celtics. Eric appeared on several episodes of Basketball Wives between seasons 1 and 4.
