Al B Sure! has offered an update on the medical crisis that left him hospitalized and in a coma for two-months.

The singer-songwriter posted a video to Instagram, on Nov. 2, that detailed the procedures he recently underwent. The “Nite and Day” singer didn’t note the exact cause of his health problems, but said he’d been on an “unforeseen medical roller coaster” and it was a “life-changing experience.”

“In early to mid July, I was in a meeting over lunch, wrapped up and proceeded back to the studio to continue working on my upcoming project. As I sat in front of the computer, I began to lose feeling on the entire left side of my body and fell over to the side. Fortunately my phone was within reach and I was able to call for assistance,” he captioned the edited video, which was set to music and included footage of his various medical procedures.

“It was October when I was made fully aware of what had transpired and able to start to comprehend it all. I had multiple surgeries covering everything from repairing a #hematoma/#hernia to an #OrganTransplant!” he continued.

The radio host and new jack swing-era performer shared more of his story in a second post.

“I was placed on #dialysis, accumulated excessive fluid in my lungs, #fungalNeumonía, became #septic, removal of #Lymphnodes, multiple #bloodtransfusions, was #intubated and also placed on a #ventilator due to my oxygen dropping down to 20%,” he added.

The singer, 54, called the medical scare “mind-boggling.”

He noted that he has a “chevron-shaped scar” — created when doctors “entered my chest and abdominal cavity to repair my broken parts.”

The singer didn’t say where he was treated, but the posts were location-tagged in Mount Vernon, New York.

Al B. Sure! thanked the doctors and nurses who treated him, and said he learned his prognosis had been grim after waking from a coma.

“The amazing medical professionals were fully prepared to send me to hospice due to the severity of my overall illnesses. Doctors said it just didn’t look as if I’d make it through with all going on simultaneously,” he explained.

But he said his primary care physician, his friend DJ Eddie F, Rev. Al Sharpton and publicist Rachel Noerdlinger all stood firmly, saying “no” to hospice.

The singer also thanked Snoop Dogg for his support, and mentioned AARP and the SAG-AFTRA union, which is known for its comprehensive health plans.

In a third post, he admitted the ordeal had “shaken me to the core.”

But he said he maintains his faith in God and is determined to “stay alive, be a better human being, father, brother, son, social activist and man.”

The Grammy-nominated singer also urged his followers to take care of themselves and “go see a doctor.”
