The Black Ink Crew is getting back together, but this time under a new roof.

Ceaser Emanuel, Sky Days, Spyder, Krystal Morales and Bux are returning to reality TV in House of Ink, a new series premiering Nov. 16 on The Optix Network.

The familiar faces previously appeared in VH1’s Black Ink Crew franchise, which started with the tattoo artists and staff at Emanuel’s Harlem-based shop. The original New York series ended its run in 2023, but several of its personalities are now stepping back in front of the cameras.

According to a recent press release, House of Ink will follow the cast as they navigate changing businesses, relationships, personal challenges and new beginnings. The network describes the show as an “intimate look at ambition, reinvention and life beyond the spotlight.”

For Emanuel, the return comes after a serious health scare. As Urban Hollywood 411 previously reported, the tattoo entrepreneur revealed last year that he suffered two strokes on the same day and spent nearly a month in the hospital.

During an August 2025 appearance on Carlos King’s “Reality With the King” podcast, Emanuel recalled developing a pounding headache and struggling to speak while working on a tattoo. He went to the hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care.

Emanuel said the experience made him recognize how serious his high blood pressure had become. He later underwent speech therapy and took several medications as part of his recovery.

“I’m really thankful for God for getting me through the situation,” he told King.

His television comeback also follows his June 2022 exit from Black Ink Crew, after video surfaced of him allegedly abusing dogs. Emanuel said the footage had been taken out of context.

House of Ink will be the first original series from The Optix Network, which officially launches Nov. 1. The streaming service plans to offer scripted and unscripted shows, independent films, feature films and documentaries, with additional original productions in development.

The company also says it is developing distribution opportunities to help independent filmmakers and producers earn money from their work.

Streaming subscriptions start at $4.99 per month for an ad-supported plan with streaming on one device. An ad-free subscription will cost $6.99 monthly and support two devices, while a $13.99 VIP tier will include ad-free viewing and streaming on three devices.
