Oprah Winfrey will headline an immersive music and arts show at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
“Oprah Winfrey’s AHA” combines music, visual art, poetry, storytelling and advice, with the audience participating in the shows, scheduled for the weekend of April 2–4, 2027.
“Creating this experience has felt like the culmination of what I’ve spoken about and worked towards my entire life,” Winfrey said in a statement Monday.
According to her team, she will appear live on stage during the two-hour production alongside Grammy-winning musician Jacob Collier, acclaimed poet and author Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet and gospel singer Wintley Phipps. Additional guests will be announced later.
Composer Max Richter will provide musical direction and original music, working alongside Grammy-winning musician and vocal director Jason White, and electronic artist Jon Hopkins.
Oscar-winning Moonlight screenwriter Tarell Alvin McCraney is part of the writing team, while artist Es Devlin and the Plum Village Monks will contribute original works. Ethan Tobman directs, with Baz Halpin producing.
The media mogul said the idea came to her while she was attending a U2 performance at the Sphere in 2023.
“‘AHA’ is a dream that came to me as I sat in awe at the opening night of U2 at the Sphere, mesmerized by the possibilities of how the space could be used as a tool for creating greater awareness and understanding of ourselves and our connection to each other,” she shared.
The production brings together artists, musicians and storytellers. But the shows are not cheap. Tickets start at $145, according to Oprah.com.
