The drama is heating up for Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer Pinky Cole, and she hasn’t even made her debut on the show.
Just five weeks after the Slutty Vegan founder filed for bankruptcy protection, a creditor reportedly seized one of her investment properties in the Atlanta suburb of Loganville, Georgia.
Citing court documents, TMZ reported on March 24 that Cole “rushed” back to bankruptcy court to seek help after Guardian Asset Management posted a notice on the house and changed the locks.
The filing described the property as a six-bedroom, four-bathroom house spanning more than 2,800 square feet.
The RHOA star said her attorney tried to contact the company to say the takeover was done “unlawfully” because the bankruptcy filing was supposed to halt collection efforts.
Cole told the court the company’s actions have caused “extreme financial harm” as she fights to restructure her empire. She made plans to rent the property to generate income, and has a tenant with a lease starting on April 1.
Attorney Jamie Christy told TMZ the collection company crossed the line.
“This was an investment property that was unlawfully seized from Ms. Cole. This unlawful seizure violated the automatic stay imposed in Ms. Cole’s bankruptcy case,” Christy said.
Born Aisha Cole, the entrepreneur filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 12 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Atlanta.
As previously reported, she listed nearly $1.4 million in debts. The filing said she owes about $1.2 million to the U.S. Small Business Administration for a COVID recovery loan, and another $192,000 in taxes to the Georgia Department of Revenue.
Cole was also sued by a landlord in August 2025, saying she owed more than $87,000 in past due rent, late fees, and interest for two Slutty Vegan eateries in Atlanta.
She launched her plant-based burger company on a food truck with customers able to order via Instagram. Cole quickly found success and opened her first restaurant location in 2018, according to the Slutty Vegan website. The company expanded to 14 locations across the country, but some restaurants have since closed.
On Feb. 24, Bravo announced Cole would be joining the season 17 cast of RHOA, premiering on April 5.
Bravotv.com says she is a Jamaican-American business mogul, author and community activist. The website says Cole attended Clark Atlanta University and runs a charity.
She’s described as “a philanthropist and head of the Pinky Cole Foundation, which is committed to uplifting marginalized and underrepresented communities and breaking the cycle of poverty by providing access to resources and education to pursue their entrepreneurial goals.”
