Ray J has offered another troubling update about his health.
This time, the reality star, singer and streamer said doctors told him he only has months to live following his hospitalization for chest pains and pneumonia on Jan. 6.
“2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” the singer shared. “That’s what they say.”
Ray J, born William Ray Norwood Jr, made the claim about his health in a live stream posted to Instagram on Tuesday night, Jan. 27.
A friend in the video told him to stay positive. “Don’t say that brother, don’t say that,” adding, “F–k the doctor. You’re gonna live long.”
Ray J started to express regrets about his hard partying lifestyle. “I shouldn’t have went this hard, bro,” he said, before noting that his children will be fine because he’s provided for them financially.
“My baby mama gonna be straight, my kids gonna be straight, if they wanna spend all the money, they can spend it,” he said. “I did my part here.”
Ray J, who has a history of antics, then gave instructions on what to do when he’s gone.
“And damn, when it’s all done, burn me, don’t bury me,” he said, indicating he prefers cremation over burial.
He said his parents and his sister Brandy have been supportive by taking him to the doctor, adding that Brandy has paid his bills “for the rest of the year.”
Ray J’s video update comes after the Love & Hip Hop star said over the weekend that a doctor told him his heart was beating at one fourth of its capacity.
“I am not okay,” Ray J said in a video on Sunday. “My heart is only beating like 25 percent, but as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be all right, so thank you for all your prayers.”
