The national monument will be composed of statues honoring 244 historical figures.
The veteran journalist will also remain in her role as a political analyst for CNN.

Other winners included Taylor Swift, who used her speech to call out the White House.
“Thank you for a job well done,” Trump tweeted Thursday.
“CNN Tonight” host said the display was “hard to watch.”
