A shooting in South Los Angeles claimed the life of local rapper Snoopy Blue.
The shooting was reported around 1:35 am on Saturday, July 9, in the 11600 block of South Central Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
LAPD officers responded to the scene and found a male victim inside a vehicle behind the location, Officer Tony Im told reporters.

The man was pronounced deceased at the location, and later identified as 45-year-old Demond Camper of Los Angeles. Camper performed under the name Snoopy Blue.
The music website Discogs.com said Camper was originally from Compton. Just hours before his death, Snoopy Blue posted a music video on his Instagram page.
As news of his death spread, friends and fans filled the comments section of the post with condolences.
Rapper, actor, and comedian Slink Johnson wrote: “Much luv and respect. May God bless his soul with everlasting life and abundance and may He comfort and strengthen the hearts and minds of the bereaved family and carry them always.”
Rapper Mario M.Dot Taylor added: “Love you bro this sh-t is terrible news.”
While rapper Big Gipp wrote: “Peace King RNP.”
