This is been a terrible week for Ray J.
First, he was spotted with “blood” dripping under his eyes at a Valentine’s Day concert in Shreveport, Louisiana. Whether the blood was real is up for debate.
Now, the “One Wish” singer says someone “snatched” a heart monitor off of his bare chest at that same concert and he wants it back.
In an interview with TMZ on Feb. 19, Ray J said the theft happened while he was performing his signature song.
“Every time I do ‘One Wish,’ I try to jump out in the crowd, touch the people, and sing the song with the people,” he explained. “Unfortunately, as it got crazy, going in the back under a tunnel, somebody snatched my heart monitor off.”
The singer pleaded with the person who has the monitor to return it so he can keep up with his health data.
“If you have the heart monitor, just let us know how we can get it back, if possible, because I need it for analytics,” he said during the interview.
The singer, born William Ray Norwood Jr., was hospitalized in early January after experiencing chest pains and being diagnosed with pneumonia.
Weeks later, the “Sexy Can I” crooner said his heart was failing.
“My heart’s only beating like 25 percent,” he said in a video posted to Instagram on Jan. 25. “But as long as I stay focused and stay on the right path, then everything will be all right.”
He added: “My health is not okay. So I thank everybody supporting and praying for me through the health and through everything I’ve been in the hospital.”
On Jan. 27, he shared another troubling update on Instagram, saying a doctor told him he only has months to live.
“2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” he shared with his followers. “That’s what they say.”
