The “Netflix Is a Joke” comedy festival is returning to Los Angeles in May, with some of the biggest names in comedy, sports and music.
Netflix announced the list of headliners on Tuesday, Jan. 20, saying this year’s festival will be “bolder, funnier and more star-studded than ever.”
The lineup includes events featuring Katt Williams, Lizzo, Kevin Hart, Jon Stewart, Shane Gillis, John Mulaney, Seth Rogen, Jerry Seinfeld, Nick Cannon, Marcello Hernández, Ken Jeong, and Deon Cole.
The gathering runs from May 4 to May 10, and will include more than 350 live shows at 35 venues in the L-A area.
Katt Williams returns with a stand-up show after his explosive performance at the 2024 festival.
Kevin Hart leads the search for the world’s next funniest comedian as part of his new Netflix show Funny AF with Kevin Hart.
Feid & Marcello Hernández headline a Spanish language music and comedy show at the Hollywood Bowl.
Lizzo hosts a night of comedy and music featuring Eric André, Nikki Glaser, Luenell, Dulcé Sloan, Meg Stalter and more.
Ken Jeong hosts Los Angeles Dodgers Comedy Night.
Deon Cole leads a “Comedy for the Community” event supporting Altadena Eaton Fire relief.
“In just 4 years, Netflix Is a Joke Fest has grown into the world’s biggest celebration of comedy,” Robbie Praw, Netflix VP of Stand-up and Comedy Formats, said in a statement.
“This year, we’re bringing together legends, trailblazers, and the next generation of voices for an entire week of unforgettable moments across Los Angeles,” Praw added.
In 2022, the inaugural festival featured 295 shows. The gathering was a local hit, with more than 260,000 tickets sold, as previously reported. The festival returned in 2024, and featured Netflix’s headline-making Tom Brady roast, which the NFL star later said he regretted.
Tickets for the 2026 festival go on sale Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. PT via netflixisajokefest.com.

Jon Stewart hosts Night of Too Many Stars – a gathering featuring stand-up, variety and music. Talent includes Bill Burr, Conan O’Brien, Steve Carell, Ron Funches, Nikki Glaser, Tiffany Haddish, Jimmy Kimmel, Leanne Morgan, John Mulaney, Bob Odenkirk, Matt Rife, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Ali Wong, Noah Wyle and many more.
Funny AF with Kevin Hart (Previously announced as Kevin Hart Comedy Competition) The search for the world’s next funniest comedian will begin streaming on Netflix starting April 20, with taped episodes leading up to the LIVE semi-finals and finale in the festival May 4th & 5th.
Nate Bargatze returns to the festival for two nights, this time at the Intuit Dome, to film his next Netflix comedy special that will air later this year.
Shane Gillis headlines a blockbuster night of comedy at the Hollywood Bowl.
John Mulaney returns to the fest for his third time and for his third Hollywood Bowl Show.
Feid & Marcello Hernández headline a massive Spanish language comedy and music show at the Hollywood Bowl.
Seth Rogen leads “Seth Goes Greek” a massive night of music and comedy featuring Eric André, Nikki Glaser, Stavros Halkias, Nick Kroll, Sarah Silverman, Taylor Tomlinson, with surprise guests and musical acts, supporting Hilarity for Charity.
Jerry Seinfeld headlines a comedy event with musical guest Leonid & Friends and special guest Leanne Morgan.
Lizzo hosts a night of comedy and music from Eric André, Nikki Glaser, Luenell, Dulcé Sloan, Meg Stalter and more.
Patton Oswalt leads “A Tribute to Pee-wee Herman ,” celebrating 40 years of Pee-wee’s Playhouse in partnership with Herman World featuring music and comedy performances from The B-52s, Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale of DEVO, Danny Elfman, Fred Armisen, Sheng Wang, Bob The Drag Queen, Patti Harrison, Julio Torres, Michael Carbonaro and Puddles Pity Party. With special celebrity guest appearances from David Arquette, Cheri Oteri, Natasha Lyonne, and more.
Ken Jeong hosts Dodgers Comedy Night featuring Dodgers players for a grand slam night of live comedy and surprises presented by Will Smith, All-Star catcher of the LA Dodgers.
Deon Cole hosts “Comedy for the Community: Supporting Altadena Eaton Fire Relief.” Netflix says the event will feature some of the biggest stars of the festival for a week of surprise lineups at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 719.
Best in Show at The Dolby features Michelle Buteau, Jim Gaffigan, Hasan Minhaj + Ronny Chieng, and Wanda Sykes performing individual shows.
Nick Cannon presents Wild ‘n Out for a legendary show comedy battle in an intimate setting.
