Nelly and Ashanti are giving fans another look at life beyond the stage as they juggle parenting, music and their future together in season 2 of Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together.

The reality show returns to Peacock on Nov. 19, with all eight episodes available to stream that day.

The new season follows the married music stars as they balance raising their son, demanding careers and taking control of their legacy, the streamer announced in a press release Friday.

For Ashanti, that means juggling motherhood and performing while splitting her time between St. Louis and New York City.

She is re-recording her debut album as part of an effort to take control of her masters. Along with revisiting the music that helped launch her career, Ashanti is also working on new projects with other artists.

Meanwhile, Nelly is reflecting on the physical toll of years of nonstop touring. An unexpected loss in his family also reminds him of what matters most.

Between raising their son and honoring the people who support them, the couple is figuring out what their next chapter should look like.

“Belonging together isn’t about standing still, it’s about building a future on their own terms,” the official description reads.

The show was renewed for a second season in March, as previously reported. At the time, Peacock said the series was its second highest rated unscripted original freshman show.

The eight-episode first season debuted in June 2025 and followed the newlyweds after they reunited following a decade apart. Viewers watched the two Grammy winners balance their careers, growing business ventures and life as a blended family.

Ashanti announced her pregnancy in April 2024, and they welcomed their son Kareem Kenkaide Haynes that July. Nelly also has two children from previous relationships and raised his late sister’s children.

The show is produced by Pantheon Media Group and Velvet Hammer Media.

Nelly, whose legal name is Cornell Haynes Jr., and Ashanti Haynes serve as executive producers alongside Tina Douglas, J Erving, Rebecca Quinn, Jennifer O’Connell, Nick Alarcon, Steve Michaels, Ariel Brozell and Asabi Lee. Oji Singletary is showrunner and executive producer.

The new season of Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together debuts Thursday, Nov. 19, on Peacock. You can watch the trailer here.
