Marlo Hampton tells her story her way on this week’s episode of TV One’s Uncensored.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum sat down with the interview series to discuss “the heartbreak and hustle” that have defined her life.

During the interview, she opens up about her journey from being placed in the foster care system as a child, to finding success and running her luxury fashion boutique in Atlanta.

Marlo joined season 4 of RHOA as a friend and was later elevated to a peach-holder. She confirmed her exit from the Bravo series in February 2024, ahead of season 16.

Marlo was known on the show for her fashion sense and epic reads, but not everyone appreciated her sharp tongue.

In a preview clip for her episode of Uncensored, she takes aim at her critics.

“You either love me, or you hate me,” she says unapologetically. “It hurts for the ones who hate me. It does. I’m not going to lie. Look, I really don’t care what people think. They can think I’m a gold digger. I am. I’m digging for goals — G-O-A-L-S.”

Marlo’s message to her detractors — you don’t know me, except what was shown in edited clips on reality TV.

“The only thing they can tell you is what they see on Real Housewives of Atlanta,” she says.

Marlo also details going to jail in her interview, saying the experience was an “eye-opener.” And she gets candid about the challenges and rewards of raising her two nephews as their mother struggles with mental health issues.

“I didn’t have kids because I didn’t think I would be a good parent,” she says before admitting she can’t live without the two boys she refers to as her “babies.”

Uncensored: Marlo Hampton premieres Thursday, April 9 at 8PM/7C on TV One.
